Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Class
Mixed Martial arts is a combination of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Wrestling, Karate, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This style of martial arts was developed for cage fighting, most notably the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC) and can been seen on any UFC or other mixed martial art event, as well as Spike Network’s “The Ultimate Fighter.” Mixed Martial Arts flows between stand-up fighting (boxing, kickboxing, and karate), wrestling, and ground fighting ( Brazilian Jiu Jitsu).
